Planning and consulting services for the new master plan for university construction

Dortmund University of Applied Sciences,
Presidium and Department of Campus Development and Climate Protection

Project description

LOGO InfraConsult is advising Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts as part of the New Master Planning initiative. This new funding program for university construction in North Rhine-Westphalia aims to significantly accelerate planning and approval processes. Dortmund University of Applied Sciences was selected for the initiative because merging and consolidating operations at a central location will provide optimal development opportunities for the university’s future. Thanks to its proximity to TU Dortmund University and the Technology Center, the new location offers ideal conditions for collaboration in research, teaching, and technology transfer.

As part of the New Master Plan, LOGO is responsible—in coordination with the university’s committees and users, as well as ministries and the BLB—for preparing the requirements plan, including a detailed space and functional program for the first prioritized functions. The new spaces and areas are intended to provide the structural framework for a vibrant campus and for the implementation of modern teaching, learning, research, and working methods.
