Project

Technical Due Diligence for Office Building

Frankfurt am Main,
Germany

Project description

The “Opernpalais” was built in 1905 in a neoclassical style and served as the former management board building of Metallgesellschaft AG. In 2003, the building underwent a general renovation and was integrated into “Die Welle”, a building complex which stretches to the north of the Alte Oper. The historical building has since been used as a representative office building. The conversion measures had to meet both the current requirements for technical standards, as well as fulfill the strict specifications for the preservation of historical buildings, resulting in the use of various technical solutions. Following an appraisal and a comprehensive analysis of the consumption data, LOGO advised the office building’s tenant on measures to optimize the comfort and the building’s technical systems.
