New energy storage laboratory at HSRM’s Rüsselsheim campus

RheinMain University of Applied Sciences, Wiesbaden, Germany

Project description

The existing hydrogen laboratory in building E at the Rüsselsheim campus is in poor structural condition and is to be replaced by a new energy storage laboratory. As part of this development, research activities will be expanded through innovative research facilities. The new building is to be constructed on an existing parking lot on August-Bebel-Strasse, in close proximity to the current building. Once the new facility has been completed, building E is to be demolished and the cleared area will be redesigned as part of the outdoor facilities.
The new building for the Department of Engineering will comprise an energy storage laboratory, including a hydrogen / fuel cell laboratory and a battery laboratory.
