Runway at Schönefeld Airport to Be Refurbished in 2015

In preparation for the commissioning of the airside facilities of the new Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER), refurbishment of the existing northern runway at Berlin Schönefeld Airport (SXF) is required. From spring 2015 onwards, parts of the BER infrastructure—particularly the southern runway and the southern taxiways—will therefore be used temporarily in order to maintain flight operations at SXF.
