Project

Construction of new fire station

Airport Braunschweig-Wolfsburg GmbH,
Germany

Project description

Braunschweig Wolfsburg Airport is in need of a new, modern fire station that meets the high fire protection standards laid down for airports. The new fire station is being built within the airport site, at the edge of the apron, as part of a building complex which also includes a separate vehicle garage and a workshop building. As well as functions for the fire station, the new building will also incorporate operational functions such as a crisis control room and training rooms.

LOGO InfraConsult GmbH is supporting Braunschweig Wolfsburg Airport with expertise in project management and requirement planning. The basic specifications and special requirements for a fire station are first set out systematically with airport managers. The project is then managed in accordance with the AHO—from planning and implementation to commissioning of the building.
