Efficient processes are the backbone of successful airport operations. We analyze and optimize core and special processes, from departures, arrivals, and transfers to PRM and VIP services. 
Our systematic approach uncovers bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and sources of error. Based on this analysis, we develop optimized target processes with tangible improvement potential. Through targeted measures, such as merging, parallelizing, or outsourcing process steps, we measurably increase throughput, service quality, and user experience. Analysis and optimization of key process types

We consider both passenger-related processes (e.g., check-in, baggage drop-off, security, boarding, transfer, border control, baggage claim) and operational processes (e.g., baggage, GroundOPS, PRM support, facility management, and IT services). Additionally, we analyze commercial and supporting processes, such as space management, retail supply, as well as emergency and special procedures (e.g., disruption, VIP handling).  

End-to-end process descriptions

We fully document procedures for departure, arrival, and transfer (Schengen, non-Schengen, One-Stop-Security and passengers from countries without one-stop security agreements). 

Process documentation from operational concepts to work instructions

We ensure that operational procedures, responsibilities, and interfaces are clearly described and traceable.  

Detailed PRM processes

We develop differentiated procedures for all traffic routes/types (departure, arrival, transfer), optimize wheelchair and electric cart services, and define pick-up points and drop-off points, PRM waiting areas, as well as interfaces with security and border controls.  

Bottleneck and time-distance analyses

We identify bottlenecks, optimize timings and personnel deployment for smooth operations.

Action plans with effectiveness monitoring

We develop actionable packages of measures (including necessary training), set up monitoring systems, and measure effectiveness. 

Interface management

We coordinate with all relevant stakeholders, such as flight operations, security, authorities, baggage logistics, IT systems, retail/commercial, and facility services, to ensure smooth processes.
