New master plan for Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences

LOGO is providing consultancy on speeding up approval procedures for university projects.

LOGO InfraConsult is advising Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences (HSBI) as part of a new ‘master plan.’ This innovative process for higher education construction in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia aims to significantly accelerate planning, approval, and construction processes. The efficient implementation is being driven by systematic integration and by simultaneously running processes that were previously performed in succession. Photo source: HSBI

Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences was selected as one of the first three universities to implement the new master plan. In this exciting phase, LOGO IC is supporting HSBI in modifying existing demand plans and statistics so they can be used effectively in the multi-stage process of the new master plan. The aim is to work with the ministries to prioritize the planned construction projects and make well-informed decisions about projects that are currently needed and can be feasibly delivered in the short term.

We are pleased to report that the first partial phases of the new master plan were successfully completed at the end of 2024. LOGO IC is looking ahead to 2025 and continuing to support HSBI in the next steps toward rapid implementation of some desperately needed construction projects.

With expertise in requirements planning and management in higher education, we are an ideal complement to the university’s own expertise.
