Project

New Concept for the Cargo Terminal

Berlin-Tegel Airport,
Germany

Project description

Cargo traffic and cargo replacement traffic at Tegel-Airport has steadily increased over the past years. Especially the transshipment load increased dramatically due to the rising number of intercontinental flights. As part of the reconstruction  of the TXL cargo terminal, the storage capacity should be expanded and both of the freight handlers should be provided with a connected rental area. LOGO InfraConsult‘s concept optimized the processes for cargo handling, taking the relevant aviation security provisions and building regulations into account.
